Well worth the $2 in my opinion. Steam reviews seem good as well. squarezero likes this. squarezero Moderator Staff Member Patreon Silver Dec 10, 2008 13,407 976 113 Male Chief Strategy Officer Salem, Massachusetts, USA #3 squarezero, Jan 6, 2023 Very much agree. Game speed changes as you move up and down the screen, which makes the ship seem less responsive (with the benefit that the enemies slow down to a crawl). That can make the controls feel “soft,” but once you get the hang of the mechanic, you kind of compensate. I died a lot on my first run in collisions that seemed easily avoidable. By the second one, though, I got the right feel and it wasn’t an issue. But, of course, no game is for everybody . That’s crazy. Hope word gets out on this one. Just came off a decent run with 767,464. There’s so much to unlock and so many ways to customize almost everything. You can even change the falling blocks to invaders and change the sound of your shots, among many other things. I customized my ship to look pretty cool with the cosmetic unlocks I’ve got so far. metalcasket Moderator Staff Member Patreon Silver Patreon Gold Patreon Bronze May 24, 2010 11,064 1,340 113 Deepest Circle, Hel #8 metalcasket, Jan 7, 2023 This is why I've been hesitant to pick up the game, even though I'm part of the problem. While I really don't care about competition anymore, when you have games that have so little people playing it on a platform, you kind of ask yourself "What's the point of playing it then?". That said, it's 2 bucks and I had no issue idiotically throwing down $90 on a pre-order for SW Jedi: Survivor on Steam literally seconds ago...I'm in. See y'all on the 'boards. I’m hoping that mitigates the low player count problem on iOS. I’m just having fun unlocking stuff for now. Once I feel like I can compete I’ll try a multiplayer match. Various power ups can speed up your bullets faster than the current game speed. The maximum speed I’ve seen so far is 160% of normal, but I expect the game can go faster. elcrazy Well-Known Member Sep 19, 2017 513 367 63 #17 elcrazy, Jan 8, 2023 and just noticed you are even higher on the board. Once again I had full health and over 800k but I couldn’t get it to spawn a new wave. Just kept playing 24 over and was waiting so long at time for enemies to come.
