Late last month, Rockstar announced that their second open-world Grand Theft Auto game Vice City would be getting the same 10 year anniversary treatment on iOS that the original Grand Theft Auto III ($4.99) got last year. Just over a week ago, we learned that GTA: Vice City would be coming on December 6th (next week!) at a price of $4.99. Today, Rockstar has released a new trailer for the anniversary port of Vice City. Fair warning: it’s got a couple of spots of rough language, so if there’s any youngsters about just tell them “earmuffs."
I rather enjoyed the touchscreen version of GTA III last year, despite its excessive use of virtual buttons. With a little practice and the right expectations it’s actually quite playable, and it’s a great feeling toting around a huge open world in your pocket for whenever the urge for mischief strikes. Vice City is an improvement over GTA III in just about every way, and has a killer style. I really can’t wait to throw it on my device come next week, and the folks in our forums are super-duper pumped for it as well.
