Something just feels so off. The game seemed like it could be fun. But I don’t know. Just the feel of the controls or the speed I can’t tell. Just felt off. I played through one whole level and beat the final boss. Unlocked a new character. There is possibly a good game here. But again just didn’t feel fun to play for some reason. Hope others enjoy. There is just so many good games these days it’s easy to be picky. Seems decent and I’m sure some people will find enjoyment with it especially for free. Devs spent years on this, tried something a little different with the roguelike, and really polished result I think. Doesn’t overly stand out though, no hope of profit, so is given away. But work, wife, two young kids and learning for a new job don’t give me much time at all for games so I have to be ruthless when I’m trying something out sadly. I’m sure for free or even cheap this would be a great little game for some people with more time. Devs say average play time is 3 minutes! which was intended I guess, and to combine speed of Sonic Hedgehog with rogue type progress. I agree, there’s so much choice it’s easy to discard games quickly sometimes because there’s not enough time to play all of them.
