I honestly bought it and look forward to it, I want to encourage the "making a f2p game a one time purchase" model, but I sure hope an iOS update doesnt just screw it up in the future. My App Store purchases always come from gift cards we get for performance at my workplace so I dont mind the pricing as much, especially since for the past 2 years-ish ive been purchasing way less things for iOS. My issue is that it was on the app store and pulled, what after 2 years. So, I am apprehensive to buy this version to have it pulled or not supported. I played the previous version and it was solid so I believe the game is pretty good but not sure.... Brightsiderus Well-Known Member Feb 1, 2017 2,133 486 83 #14 Brightsiderus, Sep 2, 2023 But it looks like it has gacha, two currencies and stuff left behind from F2P? I dunno Milotorou Well-Known Member Mar 19, 2015 556 46 28 #15 Milotorou, Sep 2, 2023 currencies are earned through different ways in game and used in the store to purchase things, more things become available to purchase as tou go through the stages, theres zero gacha here. all the things left from f2p are the "power level" mechanics we see in a bunch of f2p games, however with no energy system of any kind and without all the other f2p shenanigans you simply upgrade that by clearing stuff and getting currency. it feels like a f2p mobile game at heart but is WAY more respective of your time, has a consistent and reasonable progression curve and while probably not perfect there absolutely was some thought put into all the restructuring. I played for about 3 hours yesterday and from what I have read/saw online what I did in that 3 hours would have taken MONTHS in the original "online" version. It is honestly very likely overpriced if youre not a huge megaman fan but the game is well made, I can easily recommend it to anyone on sale, gameplay is snappy and fun, theres a crapton of content to go through and a lot of options/gamemodes to explore. I have been very much enjoying my time with it. naghihimutuc, VirtualBoyFreak, jkluk23 and 1 other person like this. agreen437 Well-Known Member Jun 12, 2014 1,455 172 63 #16 agreen437, Sep 2, 2023 Is there controller support and how does it run on most recent devices? I can’t speak to how it runs on most recent devices because I still haven’t pulled the trigger (and I don’t own the newest device ). @Milotorou: If I may ask, did you test a controller and, if so, which one(s) did you use? Edit : The way they make it also allows you to map 2 buttons to the same action if you want to, which is nice for some people depending on their playstyle.
